You make a good point William. However, reconciliation was only necessary after Adam sinned and violated the initial kingdom God had established-the Garden of Eden. Through reconciliation God is able to complete His kingdom however, kingdom remains the primary and ultimate goal of God's desire to cohabitate with His creation. Thank you for your comment.

In my humble opinion reconciliation is the overall theme to the Bible with salvation the benefit of that reconciliation.
